About ISDN2

As a digital service, ISDN2 provides your business with greater flexibility in your communications over standard analogue lines. 

What is ISDN2?

ISDN2 consists of two 64Kbit channels, allowing 2 simultaneous calls to be made.

ISDN2 can deliver up to 8 channels to meet the size of your business and accommodate specific applications such as video conferencing.

What equipment can I attach to ISDN2?

ISDN2 can have up to 8 items of digital equipment such as telephones, faxes and computers. (Please ensure your computer has an ISDN card).

ISDN2 can also connect to analogue equipment such as computer modems or a fax machine, when a terminal adaptor is used.

Can I assign dedicated inbound numbers to my staff?

ISDN2 can also be provided with up to 9 Multiple Subscriber Numbers or MSNs so that each item of digital equipment can have a dedicated inbound number.

Alternatively, where we install your ISDN 2 to be connected to a digital telephone system, we can provide an unlimited number of Direct Dial Inward or DDI numbers that can by-pass your operator and route the caller direct to your staff or to a specific fax machine.

What are our delivery timescales?

We can deliver your ISDN 2 lines within 14 working days on acceptance of your order. Our dedicated Customer Support team will handle all aspects of your order, ensuring you are kept up to date on the progress of your installation.

How will you invoice my business and can I view my call usage on-line?

All new lines, existing lines migrated to us and associated call charges are available on a single bill, which is emailed to you monthly. You can analyse your call charges through our free on-line call view (c.view) application.

You can also add our inbound 08 business numbers, inbound call features and our fast business-only broadband to your single bill.

Do we offer ISDN based video conferencing?

We offer competitive video lines and calls service with free installation on new lines. We also offer lower line rentals on existing BT ISDN lines and competitive ISDN video call rates to over 50 international destinations.

We can also make video meeting effortless with our multi-point conferencing where we can dial out, meet and greet, and also provide continuous presence during your meetings.
